The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is all set to declare on the 8th of August, 2014 (being Friday), the Result of the Chartered Accountants Final Examination held in May / June, 2014.

The Union Public Service Commission has released Notification dated 19.07.2014 to invite the candidates to apply online to appear in the Combined Defense Services II (C.D.S.) Examination, 2014. The Online registration of the candidates shall commence w.e.f. the date of UPSC’s Notification dated 19.07.2014.   Interested candidates could apply Online from July 19, 2014 to take their CDS (II) Exam, 2014.    The Last Date for Receipt of the Application is August 18, 2014.  Several thousands of candidates from across the country who would be Medically fit and talented shall appear in CDS Exam (II), 2014.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) shall conduct CDS  Examination II, 2014  on October 26, 2014.  CDS Exam (II), 2014 will have a duration of 1 Day.

Eligibility Criteria:
The male candidates appearing in CDS Examination must be unmarried (Indian Military Academy and Naval Military Academy must be Unmarried).  Male candidates appearing in Indian Air Force Academy might be either married or unmarried).  Male candidates appearing in Officers Training Academy must be unmarried.  Female candidates appearing in Officers Training Academy might be unmarried or issue-less widow.
Schemes of Examination:
For Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Force Academy, CDS II Exam, 2014 shall comprise three Subjects as follows,  
·         Subjects: English, General Knowledge & Elementary Mathematics.
·         Duration: 2 Hours.
·         Maximum Marks: 100
For Admission to Officers Training Academy, the Examination Scheme will be as follows:
